Puppies in the Park
Puppies of any age*
Puppies need to experience many different stimuli at in early age for them to develop into well socialized and behaved dogs. If puppies are not introduced to different people, surfaces, sounds, objects, and animals at an early age, they may begin to generalize anything new and become fearful and potentially aggressive.
We will introduce your puppy to many different stimuli to build confidence in your puppy, stop fear before it starts, and help prevent behavior problems. We will meet at different parks around the area for 30 minutes to ensure your puppy is provided a positive experience in unfamiliar situations. Start dates are rolling; you can begin on any date! Drop-ins are also welcome. The class is built on a rolling schedule so you may begin the class at any time! And if you can't make a class, just show up for the next one.
If you can't make it for four-weeks, feel free to drop into a class or two!
*Two sets of shots are needed
Golden Paws' puppy socialization class is a great complement to No Ruff Day's Puppy 101 and Puppy Parties. Puppy 101 works to solve puppy problems such as leash pulling, nipping, crate training, jumping, potty training and destructive chewing. They work on sit, down, touch, leave it, take it, drop it, stay, come, focus and more.
Puppy Parties not only allow time for your dog to play but they also include play-training, human and dog play, enrichment classes, and rest periods to fill your best friend’s day.
